New Tablo DVR Allows Users to Stream FAST Channels and Skip Ads with Ease

Tablo Releases 4th Generation DVR with FAST Channels, Ad Fast-Forwarding, and No Subscription Fees.

Tablo is a DVR product of the Canadian-based company Nuvyyo, and it is designed to capture Over-The-Air (OTA) TV broadcasts operated through a tablet or web-based platform. With the help of an HDTV antenna, it taps into free OTA HDTV channels, allowing users to view live broadcasts or record content to an external USB drive or the device’s internal storage, depending on the model.

Recently, Tablo introduced its 4th generation OTA DVR in response to the rising demand for OTA DVRs and TV antennas. This latest version offers a host of improvements, aiming for a superior TV streaming experience compared to earlier models.

The 4th generation DVR offers users the opportunity to stream over 70 FAST channels and boasts the ability to bypass commercial breaks. It has no recurring fees, and its installation is straightforward.

With a price tag of $100, this DVR model offers over 50 hours of internal recording capacity. It’s furnished with two ATSC 1.0 tuners, ensuring consistent streaming. The Tablo App accompanying the DVR facilitates access to a spectrum of channels, including but not limited to ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, and PBS.

A standout attribute of this DVR is its proficiency in recording content and enabling users to bypass commercials. Distinct from its previous models, this DVR operates without monthly charges. A one-off payment grants users full access to all of its features without any added expenses.

Designed for user convenience, the 4th generation DVR is versatile and compatible with various platforms. The setup process is simple; users need to connect an antenna and install the Tablo App. This app provides suggestions on optimal antenna positioning to achieve the best reception.

The Tablo App is accessible on platforms such as iOS, Roku, Fire TV, Android TV, and Android devices, with support for additional platforms in the pipeline.
Tablo is poised to expand its DVR lineup. Plans are ongoing to debut an ATSC 3.0 tuner and another variant with four tuners. The company’s primary objective remains consistent improvements, striving to furnish users with the latest technology and an expansive channel selection.
