Starz and YouTube have launched a 30-day access promotion, giving YouTube TV and YouTube Primetime Channels subscribers temporary access to Starz’s content library. This offer, available for both new and existing subscribers, runs in the U.S. until April.
The promotion is part of a newly extended multi-year partnership between Starz and YouTube, which includes bundled packages and future offers. This marks the first time YouTube TV has introduced such an offer.
Alison Hoffman, President, Starz Networks, said, “As Starz continues to adapt to the needs of our customers in this rapidly changing digital landscape, strategic partnerships, like this one with YouTube TV, allow us to expand our reach by introducing our premium content to new audiences. We are excited to have YouTube’s support to ensure their customers see the value of this offer just in time for the Super Bowl. This promotion further highlights the strength of the Starz brand as a complementary service.”
Additionally, Starz’s lineup includes original series such as Power Book III: Raising Kanan, which premieres its fourth season on March 7, the thriller The Couple Next Door, and all seven seasons of Outlander. The service also features popular movies, including John Wick: Chapter 4, Borderlands, and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Furthermore, during the promotional period, YouTube TV subscribers will also have access to major televised events such as the Super Bowl, NBA All-Star Weekend, the start of the MLB season, the Academy Awards, March Madness, and the NBA playoffs. The deal expands Starz’s availability across digital platforms and follows recent trends of streaming services using promotions to attract and retain subscribers.
