Fox News Media will air multiple advertisements during this year’s Super Bowl broadcast, including a network brand commercial and two Fox Nation show promotions. With Fox broadcasting the game, several of its properties, including the free streaming service Tubi, will also receive commercial time.
The Fox News brand ad is scheduled to air in the first quarter, featuring major news moments from the past year, such as the aftermath of the attempted assassination of former President Trump, an interview with Vice President Harris by Bret Baier, and coverage from Israel and the U.S.-Mexico border. The ad includes a montage of these events with red and blue text on a white background, reading: “For all the unprecedented. For all the unpredictable. For all the moments that matter. For all America.”
Fox Nation, the company’s subscription streaming service, will air two commercials during the game. A 30-second ad for Martin Scorsese Presents: The Saints will run at halftime, followed by a 10-second spot in the third quarter. Another Fox Nation Advertisement, 15 seconds promoting for the Yosemite of Kevin Costner, will also be aired in the third quarter.
Fox Corporation has announced a plan to introduce a new streaming service later this year, which will include its sports programming and first in the U.S., Fox News Content. While the Fox Nation dedicated to Fox News audience is marketed, the upcoming service is expected to target comprehensive audiences including cord-core.
Fox’s decision to allocate Super Bowl ad space to Fox Nation shows featuring Scorsese and Costner reflects an effort to promote its streaming content. The Fox News brand ad also highlights the network’s positioning in the cable news landscape, following its audience growth after the election.
