SiriusXM and ESPN+ Offer Six Months Free to Subscribers in New Offer

Disney’s ESPN and SiriusXM are teaming up to give sports fans more content across both platforms. The two media giants, ESPN and SiriusXM, have joined forces to offer a special promotion for their streaming subscribers.

Furthermore, under this deal, eligible SiriusXM subscribers in the U.S. will receive up to six months of free access to ESPN+. In return, starting later this month, both new and existing ESPN+ subscribers in the U.S. can enjoy six months of SiriusXM’s streaming-only service at no extra cost. However, subscribers will be required to pay the standard rates for either service, after the six-month promotional offer. ESPN+ will cost $11.99 per month, while SiriusXM’s streaming service will start at $9.99 per month.

Sean Breen, executive VP of platform distribution, Disney Entertainment and ESPN, said, “Collaborating with SiriusXM on this offer will not only provide ESPN+ subscribers with access to their vast entertainment offerings, but it also opens the door for SiriusXM customers to experience our premium sports content on ESPN+.”

Additionally, eligible SiriusXM customers can access ESPN+ starting with Platinum VIP subscribers and expanding to other tiers in November. The sports streaming service offers a vast range of content, including over 32,000 live events annually. This includes exclusive UFC matches, more than 50 NHL games per season, college football and basketball from 20 conferences, soccer, golf, Top Rank Boxing, Grand Slam tennis, MLB games, international cricket, and more. ESPN+ also features original series, studio shows, and the complete library of ESPN’s acclaimed “30 for 30” documentaries.

Notably, according to ESPN and SiriusXM these subscription offers will be available for a limited time. Customers eligible for the promotion will receive detailed instructions on how to claim the offer through marketing emails sent from their respective services.

Jeff Dallesandro, SiriusXM’s senior VP of streaming distribution partnerships, said, The partnership is “designed to bring listeners and viewers closer to the personalities, players, teams and leagues they love” by coupling SiriusXM’s and ESPN+’s sports programming. The pact “will deliver value for fans while also potentially driving growth for each brand.”
