Germane Media, a digital ad monetization established in mid-2022, announces the launch of Swift TV, a new Free Ad-Supported Television (FAST) platform specifically designed for Indian viewers. The company has expanded its services to clients in 15 countries across five continents.
Swift TV is set to launch on mobile play stores, with plans to expand to TV OS platforms within a few months. The service aims to debut in India by the end of this year and will subsequently expand to regions such as the US, UK, Canada, and Dubai to cater to the Indian diaspora. According to Germane Media, Swift TV will attract 1 million users by the end of the year and 3-5 million within the first 12 months, leveraging both in-app and CTV inventory.
Abhishek Singh, CEO of Germane Media, said, “Our history and background in ad monetization will play a pivotal role in making Swift TV a success. Our existing SSP, DSP, and agency connections will be invaluable in achieving the best advertising yield on our owned and operated platform. This is one of our USPs compared to other platforms that rely on third parties for monetization and struggle to provide decent yields to their content partners. Live streaming, seminars, webinars, and special event screenings will be part of Swift TV’s offerings in the coming months.”
Germane Media claims that Swift TV offers a unique and engaging viewing experience with diverse, curated, theme-based content all at no cost. It delivers high-quality entertainment across various genres, and enhances the viewing experience with personalized recommendations tailored to each user’s preferences, using advanced algorithms and user data to curate content that resonates with individual tastes according to Germane media.
Sai Srikanth, CTO of Germane Media, said, “Swift TV is not just another streaming service, it’s a movement towards democratizing digital entertainment, making it inclusive and enjoyable for a broader audience. Join the Swift TV revolution and experience the best of curated Indian entertainment for free.”
