FuboTV and DAZN Announce Multi-Year Sports Streaming Partnership in the US

FuboTV and DAZN, two major names in the sports streaming industry, have entered into a multi-year partnership to bring their exclusive sports programming to wider audiences in the United States. The collaboration will see both platforms distribute each other’s owned-and-operated linear sports channels, marking the beginning of a broader strategic alliance aimed at enhancing sports content accessibility.

Starting immediately, FuboTV users in the US can access DAZN1, a new linear channel featuring live and on-demand boxing and MMA events from DAZN’s extensive fight library. This is the first time DAZN1 has been made available to the market.

DAZN1 can be purchased either as a stand-alone subscription or as an add-on to FuboTV’s existing virtual MVPD (multichannel video programming distributor) packages. This gives Fubo customers more options for enjoying high-profile fights and sports programming without leaving the platform.

In return, DAZN will now carry the Fubo Sports channel, a free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel from Fubo that showcases over 400 live sporting events each year. Fubo Sports also features a range of sports documentaries and movies, broadening DAZN’s content offering.

This exchange allows both platforms to diversify their programming and bring complementary sports content to their respective audiences, with a focus on enhancing viewer choice and value.

Additionally, the partnership allows FuboTV to provide its users with live pay-per-view (PPV) events from DAZN. This includes some of the most anticipated global boxing matchups and exclusive fight nights, offering fans more flexibility in how they purchase and stream major sporting events.

The collaboration between Fubo and DAZN has been welcomed by both companies’ leadership, who emphasized the potential of the deal to bring premium sports content to a larger audience.

David Gandler, co-founder and CEO of Fubo, said, “Fubo and DAZN’s partnership delivers more premium sports to fans, wherever they choose to watch. Adding DAZN’s unmatched fight content enhances our sports entertainment lineup while offering customers greater flexibility. We’re also excited to expand our FAST channel, Fubo Sports, through DAZN and explore further opportunities with Shay and his team.”

Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group, added: “Our deal with Fubo enables DAZN to increase access to top-tier sports content for fans in the U.S. and Canada, as we continue to provide the ultimate sports entertainment experience. Fubo’s viewers can now watch the world’s leading fight talent compete in unmissable events as part of a new DAZN premium fight package. Meanwhile, the launch of Fubo Sports on the DAZN platform will be an exciting addition to our ever-expanding portfolio of premium sports content.”

This marks only the first phase of the agreement. Both companies indicated that more collaborations and content integrations are planned for the future. The move positions both Fubo and DAZN to better compete in an increasingly fragmented sports streaming landscape, where platforms are seeking cross-distribution deals to grow their reach and viewer engagement.

The FuboTV-DAZN partnership brings notable benefits to sports fans by combining two powerful content portfolios into a more accessible streaming experience. With the launch of DAZN1 on Fubo, the addition of Fubo Sports to DAZN, and new options for pay-per-view access, this deal represents a strategic step forward in how live sports are distributed and consumed in the U.S.
