Fubo TV has partnered with NBCUniversal to provide comprehensive multi-platform coverage of the upcoming Paris Olympics. While the terms of the agreement remain undisclosed, this agreement coincides with Fubo TV’s ongoing competition against a planned sports super-streamer from The Fox Corp., Walt Disney Company, and Warner Bros. Discovery.
The subscribers of Fubo TV will be able to access the coverage of the 2024 Paris Olympics at no additional cost. Additionally, all NBCUniversal channels broadcasting the Olympics will be included in Fubo TV’s Pro plan. At the same time, subscribers to the upgraded Elite plan will also have access to the same channels along with 4K coverage.
Notably, from July 24, subscribers of Fubo TV will be able to enjoy NBCUniversal’s Olympic programming, including live competition sessions and on-demand viewing options.
On July 26, the Paris Games will commence with NBCUniversal’s comprehensive linear TV coverage. This includes E!, CNBC, NBC, USA Network, and the Golf Channel broadcasts. On the digital front, NBCOlympics.com, NBC.com, and the NBC Sports app will offer over 5,000 hours of streaming content. This extensive coverage will be available across NBCUniversal’s TV Everywhere platforms, accessible with authentication.
Additionally, to enhance the coverage of the Paris Olympics, which will run for 17 days, NBC Sports has announced a lineup of celebrities. The opening ceremony on July 26 will feature appearances by Peyton Manning, Kelly Clarkson, Today hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb, and sports commentator Mike Tirico. They will join thousands of athletes as they embark on a unique procession down the River Seine, navigating an impressive 4-mile flotilla composed of over 90 boats.
