Comcast reveals $10/Month Now TV Latino, targeting Spanish-Speaking U.S. Consumers with New Streaming Video Offering. The new offering from Comcast will feature over 25 live Spanish-language streaming channels along with access to the Peacock online service at $10 per month.
Additionally, the package will offer a variety of content including movies, novellas, sports, and live news, incorporating both streaming TV and free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels.
Comcast’s NBCUniversal parent company is leveraging technology from Sky’s Now TV platform to expand its low-cost Spanish-language TV offering. Furthermore, Now TV which was initially launched as a $ 20-per-month streaming video product, integrates free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST), linear TV, and subscription video-on-demand channels in the U.S. market.
José Velez Silva, VP of multicultural strategy, operations & community engagement at Comcast, said, “As we continue our focus on providing unique experiences, differentiated products and bring value to Hispanic consumers, Now TV Latino provides great Spanish-language and English-language content at an affordable price for Hispanic viewers with a wide variety of tastes and interests, with no fees or contracts.”
Furthermore, Comcast is also introducing bundled pricing options for its Now TV Latino and Xfinity StreamSaver services. Customers can opt for Now TV Latino with StreamSaver at $25 per month, or upgrade to the wider Now TV package for $30 per month. Additionally, for $40 per month, Now TV Latino is offered alongside Now StreamSaver, providing access to over 40 streaming channels and including subscriptions to Netflix Standard and Apple TV+ with commercials.
Notably, with a 20-hour DVR service NOW TV Latino offers extensive programming, accessible both at home and on-the-go through the Xfinity Stream app whereas Peacock content will be available via the Peacock app on compatible devices. Customers who are seeking unified access to their subscribed streaming services from Xfinity, including NOW TV Latino, NOW TV, and StreamSaver offerings, can integrate these through a Xumo Stream Box at no extra monthly charge for the initial box.
