DIRECTV is set to enhance its streaming offerings with the addition of seven new channels, by signing deals with Cineverse Corp. and Scripps Networks.

Furthermore, MeatEater TV, a sought-after outdoor lifestyle channel, will also be part of the new additions. Meanwhile, DIRECTV customers can now access additional content options following a separate licensing agreement with Scripps Networks. As part of this deal, Scripps Court TV and Scripps News will be immediately available for streaming to DIRECTV subscribers, effective from April 23, 2024.
Rebecca Nelson, senior vice president of content and programming at DIRECTV, said, “We are creating a second-to-none lineup of streaming channels that will allow our customers to choose from a wider variety of genres or explore their most avid interests in greater depth. This new relationship with Cineverse allows us to draw from one of the industry’s most dynamic portfolios to strategically add more channels as our customers begin to discover and embrace these new options.”
