Brightcove Reports Q3 Financial Performance Results, Exceeds Projected Revenue

Brightcove, a global leader in streaming technology, recently disclosed its financial performance for Q3 ending September 30, 2023.

  • Subscription and support revenue stood at $48.6 million, down 6% from Q3 2022’s $51.8 million.
  • Gross profit was $31.7 million with a gross margin of 62%, compared to $33.9 million and a gross margin of 63% in Q3 2022.
  • Non-GAAP gross profit was $32.5 million with a non-GAAP gross margin of 64%, mirroring Q3 2022’s figures.
  • Operating loss amounted to $2.3 million, compared to $821,000 in Q3 2022.
  • Net loss was $2.4 million, or $0.06 per diluted share, compared to a net loss of $1.7 million, or $0.04 per diluted share, in Q3 2022.
  • Adjusted EBITDA was $5.5 million, an increase of 12% from Q3 2022’s $4.9 million.
