DAZN has partnered with the NFL to bring the 2024 NFL season to fans worldwide. Through NFL Game Pass, viewers in over 200 markets can stream the games on DAZN’s platform, with additional access available on YouTube and Amazon in select regions.
DAZN and the NFL have entered a 10-year strategic partnership to deliver an enhanced entertainment experience for the 2024 season. The partnership’s first year was a significant success, with Super Bowl LVIII week viewership surging by 61% year-on-year and NFL Game Pass subscriptions increasing by 30%.
Furthermore, DAZN will provide fans with comprehensive access to every game, complete with U.S. broadcast coverage and halftime analysis, while offering more games with local commentary for the 2024 season. Fans can also catch up on demand by downloading replays, highlights, and shows directly to the DAZN app at any time. The platform also supports on-the-go streaming across mobile and tablet devices, allowing users to enjoy content in over 200 countries and territories. Additionally, fans can personalize their viewing experience by opting for ad-free replays, hiding game stats and scores to avoid spoilers, and enjoying a live game feel.
Shay Segev, CEO at DAZN Group, said, “After an immensely successful first season working together, DAZN’s partnership with the NFL has surpassed expectations. DAZN is helping the NFL grow its international reach, expand its fan base and deliver an unparalleled out-of-stadium entertainment experience. Continuously changing the game, DAZN will offer NFL fans a huge variety of content and features to make this another unforgettable season, keeping fans engaged and entertained, and attracting new supporters to the thrilling world of the NFL.”
Notably, DAZN will introduce a free weekly NFL game for its users in most regions, excluding Australia, Brazil, DACH, Mexico, New Zealand, Spain, and the UK. Furthermore, the free NFL games will be part of DAZN’s expanding free tier, which already offers the UEFA Women’s Champions League, along with select live and on-demand matches from top international football leagues like La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, and the Saudi Pro League, as well as boxing events in various markets.
Sameer Pabari, Managing Director, International Media at the NFL, said, “Season one of our partnership with DAZN saw a shared ambition to bring the very best of the NFL to global audiences. We look forward to season two and continuing to accelerate collective efforts to take the game to new audiences and drive global fan growth in new and innovative ways.”
