PARIS, France, 7 November 2023 – The number of the FAST channels launched by OKAST on the Samsung TV Plus platform is growing.
Two new channels are already available in Italy:
• Travel & Living by DOVE (4406) – Travel & Living by DOVE is a journey about “good living.” Travel guides and suggestions on the most original and exclusive locations, discovering the beauty of Italian regions and the secrets of hidden villages.
• Lifestyle by LEI (4407) – Lifestyle by LEI is a journey into the female universe: from cooking to weddings, from health to beauty and one’s own well-being. It is the channel dedicated to women, offering exciting stories and advice to approach everyday life.
To that end, RCS Media Group has selected the OKAST Channels solution provided by OKAST. Its modular cloud-based playout, transcoding, and ad insertion solution appeared to be the ideal technical solution, complemented by the support and technological expertise of its teams.
This new partnership is part of the ambitious strategy of the European consortium FAST4EU, created by OKAST, to develop a European ecosystem to address the FAST market.
OKAST will strengthen its portfolio of channels to offer local audiences in each market content that resonates with their values and culture, thus highlighting the breadth and quality of European programming.
