The IBBA will become the first basketball association in the world to equally cover men’s and women’s basketball across eight leagues, including the first and second division, as well as the under-19 leagues and cup competitions.

Women’s basketball in Israel has consistently grown in recent years, with national and first division games regularly broadcast on television. The additional coverage will further expand the popularity of women’s basketball making 50Israeli women’s and girls’ teams accessible free of charge for basketball fans anywhere.

“We look forward to replicating the success we’ve had in covering the IBBA’s national men’s and youth leagues, strengthening all our players with access to stats and video breakdowns and making their games universally available to all,” said IBBA Chairman Amiram Halevi. “We aspire not only to remain on the forefront of technology but to offer all our players an equal opportunity. We are happy to offer our fans more than 1,200 live games from this season onwards.”

Similar to what has been available to the men’s competitions, Women’s teams across Israel will now be able to benefit from automated game production, highlights, rich graphics, live commentary, and sponsored ad placements. Pixellot’s Analytics platform VidSwap will offer statistics and video breakdown immediately after the games.

“We are proud to expand our cooperation with this visionary governing body that shares our sports democratization spirit,” said Pixellot CEO Alon Werber. “Following two successful seasons, which saw tremendous growth in viewership, we are not only excited to add more women’s leagues to the platform, but also to become an official sponsor of the youth leagues.”
