Las Vegas, Nevada – April 10, 2023 –NAB Show’s opening session for CDSA’s Content Protection Summit (CPS@NAB) will be co-hosted by Paramount futurist Ted Schilowitz and world-renown illusionist David Copperfield as they present an extraordinary keynote presentation with a live demonstration of AI technology in “Behind the Magic of NAB’s Legacy and Future” at the SAHARA Theater in Las Vegas.
Schilowitz and Copperfield will together celebrate the art and science of TV and movie magic in an unscripted conversation as they look ahead at the future of technology’s intersection and acceleration of entertainment experiences. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to interact live with state-of-the-art virtual humans and learn more about the technologies that are driving content for the session.
With great magical power, comes great responsibility: the keynote will address the increasing complexity of our M+E ecosystem as transmedia products converge across the global customer base in the form of theatrical, streaming, broadcast, gaming, music, and all forms of entertainment. This talk will highlight the industry’s strongest examples of cutting-edge tech deployment and celebrate the art and science of Television and Movie magic over the last 100 years, in addition to forecasting the evolving forms of creative storytelling in store for the next century.
Copperfield has performed the most widely publicized illusions of his time and earned a record-breaking 38 Emmy nominations and 21 wins.
Schilowitz is known for guiding companies in the entertainment industry into the next generation of technological advancement and shining a light on the early stages of emerging technology. The companies he’s been involved in at the earliest stages of their journeys have created content that have won countless Oscars, Emmys and Grammys.
