FuboTV to Stream European League of Football Games in the U.S. Starting 2025

FuboTV has announced a new multi-year agreement with the European League of Football (ELF), bringing live American football games from Europe to U.S. audiences starting in the 2025 season. The games will air on Fubo Sports, the company’s free, ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel, and will also be accessible over-the-air (OTA) in more than 100 U.S. markets.

Beginning May 17, 2025, Fubo Sports will stream one live ELF game every Sunday, featuring teams playing in iconic European stadiums. Additionally, five playoff games will be broadcast each season. Alongside live coverage, on-demand content will be available for Fubo subscribers, including game highlights, weekly recap shows, and a curated list of the top 10 ELF games of all time.

The European League of Football has quickly become one of the most established professional American football leagues outside the U.S. The league currently features 16 franchises across nine European countries, with players from 45 nations competing.

By teaming up with Fubo, ELF will significantly expand its reach among North American sports fans, tapping into the growing demand for global sports content on FAST platforms and free OTA channels.

Pamela Duckworth, Head of Fubo Studios at Fubo, said, “Fans are increasingly turning to ad-supported platforms to watch sports, from well-known leagues to emerging properties.” She added, “In partnering with European League of Football, Fubo Sports audiences can watch the classic game of American football with an exciting twist live each week. We can’t wait to bring the action to US fans all season long.”

The partnership marks a strategic step forward for the European League of Football as it looks to grow its presence beyond European borders. With U.S. viewership becoming a key target market, ELF hopes to introduce American fans to a familiar sport played in a unique international setting.

Zeljko Karajica, CEO of the European League of Football, said, “We are very excited to expand our footprint in North America together with our new partner Fubo Sports,”
“This is the next big step to increase awareness and distribution for the European League of Football.”

Fubo Sports is available for free on major streaming platforms including Amazon Prime Video, Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, The Roku Channel, Tubi, Plex, and VIZIO WatchFree+, among others. Viewers can also access the channel via Sling Freestream, TCL Live TV, Tablo TV, and TCL Channels. For users subscribed to Fubo’s paid packages, Fubo Sports is part of a broader lineup that features more than 400 live sports, news, and entertainment networks.

Fubo’s focus on sports-first content has helped the platform stand out in a crowded streaming market. With live games, analysis shows, and athlete-focused programming, Fubo Sports continues to serve audiences looking for dynamic and diverse sports coverage.

This deal also reflects a larger trend in the streaming industry the rapid rise of ad-supported viewing models. As audiences seek low-cost options to watch live sports, platforms like Fubo Sports are emerging as attractive destinations for both major sports leagues and niche competitions.

By adding the ELF to its lineup, Fubo not only diversifies its sports offerings but also reinforces its position as a destination for live, international sports content. As Fubo and the European League of Football prepare to kick off their partnership in 2025, U.S. football fans can look forward to weekly live games and exclusive behind-the-scenes content all without needing a cable subscription. For both partners, the deal is a win-win, expanding reach, growing audiences, and redefining what it means to watch football on Sundays.
