Disney, Bell Media Launch Streaming Bundle with Disney+, Crave, and TSN in Canada

Disney and Bell Media have expanded their partnership to launch a new streaming bundle that combines Disney+, Crave, and TSN. The bundle is expected to roll out later in 2025, although specific pricing and launch dates have not yet been announced.

This new collaboration brings together a powerful mix of content from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic to premium entertainment from HBO, Max, and live sports via TSN. The bundle aims to make premium streaming more convenient

The Canadian bundle follows a similar deal made in the United States between Disney and Charter Communications, where Disney+ is now available at no extra cost for certain Spectrum TV subscribers. These kinds of bundled deals are becoming more common as streaming companies compete to gain and retain customers amid growing subscription fatigue and rising monthly costs.

Bell Media, Canada’s top media and telecommunications company, is looking to expand its reach in the digital space by offering more competitive and comprehensive streaming packages. This latest bundle strengthens Bell’s position as traditional TV viewership declines.

Subscribers to the new bundle can expect access to a wide array of content, including:

  • Disney+ Originals like Only Murders in the Building, Andor, and upcoming Star Wars content.
  • HBO and Max Originals such as The Last of Us, The White Lotus, Euphoria (Season 3), and A Night of the Seven Kingdoms, a Game of Thrones spinoff.
  • TSN Sports Coverage, including NFL, NBA, FIFA World Cup, Formula 1, and NHL games, competing directly with Sportsnet from Rogers.

Together, this trio offers something for everyone movies, series, kids’ content, and live sports all under one subscription.

While the official price of the new Disney+/Crave/TSN bundle hasn’t been revealed, the individual services are currently priced as follows:

  • Disney+ Canada: Starts at CAN$8.99/month (approx. US$6.60)
  • Crave + TSN Bundle (launched earlier in 2025): Starts at CAN$21.99/month (approx. US$16.10)

Given those prices, experts predict the new bundle could offer cost savings of around 15–25% for subscribers who opt in to all three platforms together, especially compared to subscribing to each individually.

Shawn Praskey, VP of Content Sales & Distribution at Disney Canada, said, “We’re excited to expand our longstanding relationship with Bell Media, through these new offerings, making Disney+ even more accessible across Canada.”

Bell Media has not yet issued an official statement, but the company has made it clear in previous announcements that its strategy is focused on capturing more of the Canadian streaming market as traditional cable revenue continues to shrink.

This bundle could be a signal of future alliances between major entertainment brands. As more viewers shift to on-demand streaming, companies are rethinking how to offer value while staying competitive. By combining content and sports under a single subscription, Disney and Bell Media are hoping to reduce customer churn and provide better viewing options.
