Crunchyroll, the online anime streaming platform, is now accessible to Sky customers on Sky Glass and Sky Stream in the UK and Ireland. The service will also launch on Sky Q later this year. The app can be found under the “Apps & Inputs” section on Sky devices.
Crunchyroll’s subscription plans in the UK start at £4.99 per month, with a seven-day free trial available for its ad-free option. An account is required to use the service.
The platform offers a library of nearly 2,000 anime series and films, along with more than 3,500 music videos and concerts. This launch coincides with Crunchyroll’s winter anime season, featuring popular titles such as Solo Leveling Season 2, Dr. Stone Science Future (final season), and The Apothecary Diaries Season 2. More than 40 series will premiere new episodes weekly, shortly after their Japanese broadcast.
In addition to streaming, the Crunchyroll app includes games through Crunchyroll Games and Crunchyroll Game Vault, as well as merchandise via the Crunchyroll Store.
