Comcast Launches $70 Sports & News TV Package

Comcast has announced a new “Sports & News TV” package, catering to fans of live sports and news channels. Priced at $70 per month, the package is available to customers who subscribe to Xfinity Internet services.

Subscribers can access the lineup via Comcast’s X1 set-top box or through the Xfinity Stream app for streaming. The Sports & News TV package offers a selection of 50 networks. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy channels like:

  • ESPN
  • FS1
  • Golf Channel
  • ACC Network
  • Big Ten Network
  • SEC Network

Local broadcast channels such as ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, and Telemundo are also part of the lineup, along with major cable news networks including CNN, Fox News, CNBC, and MSNBC.

Comcast has also added a subscription to Peacock, which provides access to over 8,000 hours of live sports, including NFL games, Premier League soccer, and NBA games. The bundle comes with 300 hours of cloud DVR storage and includes more than 100 streaming channels integrated into the channel guide.

For viewers seeking more extensive sports coverage, Comcast offers the “More Sports and Entertainment” package for an additional $9.99 monthly. This add-on includes premium sports channels such as:

  • CBS Sports
  • NFL Network
  • NFL RedZone
  • NBA TV

The company is marketing this as a way for users to personalize their TV subscriptions based on their viewing preferences. Comcast also highlighted its $15 per month StreamSaver bundle, introduced last year, which includes Apple TV+, Netflix, and Peacock subscriptions.
