beIN Sports Secures Premier League Broadcast Rights in MENA Through 2028

beIN Sports will continue to be the official home of the Premier League across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region until the end of the 2027/28 season, following a major contract renewal between beIN Media Group and the Premier League.

Under the new agreement, beIN will broadcast all 380 Premier League matches per season in both Arabic and English, offering fans in 24 countries across the region comprehensive coverage of one of the world’s most popular football leagues.

The deal not only covers traditional TV broadcasting through beIN SPORTS but also extends to TOD, beIN’s streaming platform. Subscribers will be able to watch matches and related programming on the web, tablets, and mobile devices, providing fans with flexible, on-the-go access to their favorite teams and games.

In addition to live match coverage, viewers will enjoy daily highlights, weekly recap shows, and magazine-style content, ensuring around-the-clock engagement with the league throughout the season.

The official signing took place on Tuesday at beIN’s MENA headquarters in Qatar, attended by Mohammad Al-Subaie, CEO of beIN MENA, and Paul Molnar, the Premier League’s Chief Media Officer. This renewed partnership continues a relationship that first began in 2013.

Mohammad Al-Subaie, CEO of beIN MENA, said, “Our long-standing partnership with the Premier League, which dates back to 2013, has been a journey of mutual growth and shared success.” He added, “This renewal not only signifies our enduring commitment to providing the highest quality sports content on beIN SPORTS and reinforces our leading position in the MENA region, but also demonstrates the trust that the Premier League has in us.”

Paul Molnar, Chief Media Officer, Premier League, said, “This renewal reflects our shared commitment to delivering world-class football and providing the best possible, localised viewing experience.” He added, “We look forward to continuing our close collaboration on a variety of content and promotional initiatives, bringing the Premier League even closer to our passionate fans in this important region.”

The MENA region is known for its deep-rooted football fandom, with millions tuning in to watch Premier League action each week. beIN’s broadcast network, coupled with its digital platform TOD, will help expand the league’s reach even further by offering localized content, expert analysis, and multi-language commentary.

Furthermore, this agreement reinforces beIN’s strategy of maintaining its status as the leading sports broadcaster in the region. With an already rich portfolio of international sports rights, including FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, and tennis Grand Slams, the extension with the Premier League is a key component in offering a comprehensive viewing experience to subscribers.

Since its inception in 1992, the Premier League has become one of the most-watched sports leagues globally, with a cumulative annual TV audience of over 3 billion. Its popularity in the MENA region has grown steadily over the years, with clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal amassing strong fan bases in countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Morocco.

By renewing this deal, beIN ensures that regional fans will continue to enjoy high-quality, uninterrupted access to their favorite matches for the next four seasons.
