Paris, France/ Zurich, Suisse (6 juillet 2022) – The fast-growing white label video streaming platform solution, OKAST, has been chosen by Ascot Elite for the launch of ascot now, an innovative VOD platform in Switzerland.
Under the brand “ascot now – finest cinema selection”, the largest Swiss film distributor, Ascot Elite Entertainment, is launching its own TVoD platform – i.e. an online platform through which films can be rented for a certain period of time.
AscotNow starts on July 6th, 2022 with a carefully selected program with initially around 180 films from its extensive library. Sorted by genres such as action & adventure, drama, thriller, comedy, kids & family, romance, and documentaries.
For many years, the program of Ascot Elite Entertainment has stood for quality and a great commitment to Swiss film. This is summarised in the sections “Award-winning films” and “Swiss films”. In addition, free bonus material will be available in the “Close-up” section; from interviews and “Q&As” with the filmmakers, to “Making Of’s” or “Behind the Scenes”, to “exclusive reports” on current film shoots.
Elite has chosen OKAST to provide this platform’s technical platform, including the scalable streaming architecture, design & user experience, content and rights management, and TV & mobile applications.
